The company is primarily engaged in ship building and repairing. It is involved in the operation of a shipyard (a fixed facility with dry docks and fabrication equipment capable of building a ship). Activities of a shipyard include the construction of ships, the repair, the conversion and alteration, the production of prefabricated ship and barge sections, and the provision of specialized services, such as ship scaling. The company has a registered office located in Murueta in Vizcaya, Spain. It is an industrial group with more than 60 years of activity, dedicated to the design and construction of all kind of vessels. The cargo vessel "2D Punta Begoña" was the first vessel built, the result of the enthusiasm with which the company was foundedin 1943 in the river of Gernika. That enthusiasm remains intact today and is reinforced by the experience of having built more than 200 vessels since then and with the commitment and confidence that only the use of the most advanced technology and the most highly qualified work force can guarantee the achievement of the most efficient and optimum vessel for each owner.
